These other alloys that cause allergic reactions, nickel is the biggest culprit, but also the main component gave the gold to make it more resistant corrosion and durability.
What options are available in hypoallergenic jewelry?
There are many options in hypoallergenic jewelry. Sterling silver, platinum and titanium rings are not only beautiful alternatives to gold, but they are purer. Titanium rings are the most pure and 100% hypoallergenic.
 • Platinum – Platinum is known for being the rarest and most precious heavy metals. It is also the most expensive. It typically 90-95% pure and weighs twice as much as gold. It also contains other alloys, including copper, cobalt, zinc and palladium. It does not tarnish like gold and does not lose its luster over time, but it can be removed and patina with time. There are many positives for platinum, but not for everyone. Price is an obstacle for many, and some men do not like the heaviness of platinum, others love.
 • Titanium Rings – Titanium bands Men's wedding and alliances are becoming increasingly popular. Titanium is 99 +% corrosion resistant pure and is inert and therefore completely. According to a Mayo Clinic study done last year on contact dermatitis, which causes itching, redness, and the wafer, the two main causes are nickel and gold.
