Really. You're not alone. There are thousands of people like you. And me too.
Do you want Indiana Jones hat.
You do not have a reason other than … Well, you want one. If you've lived 75 years ago, he is not even a question: of course you have a hat. And you'd feel naked if you left the house without him.

Bernie Pollack, who created costumes for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Crystal Skull "contacted Kitter. "He said that Steve and I were specialized on Fedora Indy and wanted to know if we could meet certain issues. After questioning us on the edge widths, heights crown, ribbon width, fur quality and many other details, Pollack asked us for some samples. We have sent several examples in the hat and could do nothing but wait. "

Kitter said: "But after a shooting test with Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg, the dream became reality and we obtained the order. My wife went on vacation and we started making hats up to 18 hours per day. "
Eighteen hours a day? If this sounds like a lot, it is useful to know what goes into making a real Indiana Jones Fedora. The best pens are made from fur felt, not wool. In fact, the highest quality Fedora is made from beaver.
It is a long and difficult process. The fur is handled, processed and converted into actual "felt" without doubt the toughest fabric known to man. (The fibers are inter-connected and arranged in all possible directions and it is almost impossible to tear.)
"The pure beaver felt used on my hats are made especially to my specs from a traditional manufacturer. This is the highest density of feel like I have never worked, and adds to the durability of the final cap. We add the same waterproof felt during the manufacturing process. "
Hence, the soft hats are best made by hand on a block of wood. "Blocks of wood hats have the advantage of leaving the felt" breath "while it dries on them. This is one of many details not always visible, but it will be useful for the long term. "
Ironically, one of the most important pieces of high quality Fedora can be something that we rarely see: the band. Since this is the only part of the hat that actually touches the wearer's head, having the right equipment ensures comfort and durability.
