Connect my analog TV via cable to my TV digital LCD, is there a difference in picture and sound?

I just purchase a Toshiba 32 inch LCD TV from appliances store last Saturday, it went well with the installation, then When I plug the coaxial cable to the LCD tv, I just realized that there was no difference in picture and sound when you used an analog cable TV. there is no difference in picture and sound when I was watching analog cable on my digital LCD TV?

Analog cable on an HDTV usually looks worse than watching it on an analog television. analog signal is 480i and a digital TV 720 or 1080 lines, so when you change the scale of a signal in place, will be "fuzzy". You really need to watch digital TV signal on your HDTV and preference.
