Structural Steel Detailing is the design and drafting of connections between steel beams and columns in steel frames that form the solid skeleton Most multi-story buildings in the Western Hemisphere.
The design of these connections is of course very critical, since decoupling of all beams, columns could lead to a collapse of the steel framework and construction, and subsequent death of thousands of people.

Structural Steel Detailing begins after the design of the structural framework has been completed. Using the material properties steel in question, the Steel Detailer calculates the forces acting on the connection, it is conceived. It then consults the design tables to arrive at the design details specific connection.
These design details include the size and material of the brackets, bolts and nuts. He expressed these as a Design of erection, which is a design that people working on site to monitor connections to assemble.
Structural Steel Detailing usually involves the use of one or more highly specialized software such as STAAD, RISA, SAP2000, RAM, PCA, SAFE, SDS / 2, and Tekla ETAB. Some of these programs are so complex that one has only to grasp the design of steel structures and some specific parameters such as material, distance from edge and deal criteria, and the program will automatically connect with a few clicks.
The assembly plans are generally created with large CAD platforms used as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
