My watch is water resistant to 3 ATM?
Recently, I brought down a 32 degrees Swiss Chronograph Mens Watch and I wondering if I could swim with it on. It has a leather strap. Also, if I could shower with it on.
For the exact depth, it depends on the ATM 3 is gauge or absolute. If it is 3 GAUE ATM, you would be 99 feet or 30 meters. If it is absolute, you would be 66 feet or 20 meters. For swimming, I doubt you would go 66 feet underwater. The leather strap is a concern that water, especially salt or chlorine, drying belt faster. I avoided a shower or a hot-tubbing with any of my watches waterproof. Water vapor added factor could work, it is well into the watch.
